Event Description

Since 2024, the That’s What She Said (TWSS) Vodcast has built a deeply engaged Pan-African community of over 250,000 young women (and some men) across Kenya, South Africa, and Nigeria. Through authentic storytelling and culture-driven conversations, the platform has generated millions of views by creating a space where young African women discuss identity, ambition, leadership, wellness, careers, relationships, creativity, and the future they want to build.

In August 2026, on Pan-African Women’s Day, this community comes offline for the first time through the inaugural TWSS Festival in Nairobi—bringing together over 3,000 young women for a one-day immersive experience centered on culture, leadership, wellness, inspiration, creativity, entertainment, and connection.

The festival theme is simple but powerful: One day where we get to live in a world with just girls.
